Obtain complete job order including a personality profile of the ideal candidate, goals for this employee’s first year, list of best companies to recruit from for this particular search.
Conduct research of marketplace to include client’s direct and indirect competitors.
Compile a list of 50-75 targeted candidates and contact each of them at least 7 times, conduct in-depth phone interviews with those who are accessible and open to change. The interview will focus on whether they have the appropriate background and if they will make a change for the right opportunity.
Determine if the candidate’s career goals will be satisfied by the client’s opportunity.
Present to client qualified candidates via resume and discuss the results of our in-depth interview including candidates’ qualifications, short-comings, career goals, motivation to change jobs, salary requirements and any relocation or visa issues.
Arrange the first interview with the client.
Prepare candidate for the first interview.
Debrief candidate.
Debrief client and release, in a professional and respectful way, any candidates the client does not wish to pursue.
Arrange second interview and discuss concerns.
Debrief candidate and client.
Discuss offer and benefits package to ensure satisfaction on both sides.
Transmit verbal offer to candidate and relay acceptance of offer to client.
Consult with candidate around resignation and counter-offer. Confirm start date.
Remain in contact with candidate and client through start date and initial phase of employment.
